Prayer Planting

We hold extended length prayer meetings throughout the week based on the format we see in the Lord's Prayer. Here you can see the details for these meetings and you are welcome to join us if you want to. We are always looking to plant extended corporate prayer times in new locations and at various times. Morning Watch

These are morning prayer meetings, early enough to make before most of us have to go into work. Currently all these meetings are being hosted in one particular zoom room until we have made it out of the pandemic.

Northeast Region

This is a prayer meeting specifically seeking to pray God's kingdom come for the North East Region of our city - this would include Rogers Park, Edgewater, West Rogers Park, Uptown and part of South Evanston. We pray every morning Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 8 am.

Wednesday Prayer

This is an hour long prayer meeting for those who do better a little later in the morning. This prayer meetings is once a week from 8 am - 9 am and has historically been attended by pastors from the northeast region. Anyone is welcome. It's in the same zoom room as our other meetings.

City-Wide Morning Watch

This used to meet on the west-side of Chicago at the Firehouse Community Arts Center. We met form 5 am - 6:30 am, so that no matter where you were coming from, you could make it every week and be headed home before rush hour traffic. When we first started this we quickly noticed that the core team of regular attenders represented each region of Chicagoland United in Prayer. We did nothing to arrange this. There was one person form the south-side, one from the North-side, one from Center City, one from the West Side and one from the Suburbs. This is where we see God's will be done for the Chicagoland area. This has turned out to be a very special time of listening form God and often a time of deep revelation and repentance. During the pandemic we have been meeting on zoom.
